Scholarship Opportunity!
for JambaLAya Kidlit 2021

EQUITY AND INCLUSION SCHOLARSHIP FOR ATTENDEE IDENTIFYING AS A WRITER OR ILLUSTRATOR FROM A MARGINALIZED GROUP

To affirm the need for more diverse representation in the children’s and YA book industry, we are offering two full scholarships for registration to the 2021 JambaLAya Kidlit Conference awarded to attendees who identify as a writer or illustrator from a group that has been traditionally marginalized by the publishing industry. This scholarship has been funded by a gift fromLinda Sue Park. This scholarship is open to both SCBWI La/Ms members and non-members. The application window is open.
